The new Garmin TT25 collars is the latest in the track and train collars offered by Garmin.
The first thing people are going to notice is the new Dynamic Mode which extends the collars battery life significantly over the TT15 mini collars. The way it works is the collar works on a 2.5 second update rate while hunting but will switch to a longer update if the dog stops or is in a vehicle traveling at a higher rate of speed. Doing this allows the battery to outlast the TT15 mini battery and is comparable to the TT15X. Later this year you will be able to buy and extended battery to out last the TT15X battery life.
The size and shape of the collar is similar to the TT15 mini collars but slightly beefed up. It is able to take up to an 1" wide collar but still able to adjust down to fit a beagle. With these collars you are able to change out the GPS piece and change the battery a lot easier then on the previous collars.
The lights on the the collar have also got an upgrade now not only changing between solid or flashing you can choose between 7 different colors to help identify dogs when running at night.
